Does your laundry look like a Messy Mt. Everest? Are you terrified of crossing your laundry room, or laundry spot like most of us have because it looks like a public market space?
I have come up awesome tips to help you tackle your laundry load.
- Wash as often as possible!
Dump a full load in your machine tub or your bucket as frequently as you pile them up. Get a few baskets for each cloth pile (e.g whites, underwear, towels etc.) as soon as you fill them up, wash!
- Wear an apron while cooking.
It might seem like a cramp on your style or an old-fashioned habit but it saves you the stress of washing. Keep your apron close by so it’s ready for use whenever you need it.
- Air out your dressy clothes as soon immediately you get home.
Those outfits we reserve for when we need to step out of the house and look like a fresh cup of ice cream should be hung up to dry so that it is fresh and available for use another day. You can’t keep washing after every wear except for cases of accidents.
- Limit the amount and type of clothing you own.
This is pretty simple really; the fewer clothes you own, you less you’ll have to wash.
- Fold clothes and put them away as soon as they come off the clothesline.
Best to keep the neatness going from the start to avoid creating a mess.
