Application Closes for the International Breweries Hero’s Foundation Kickstart Programme
Applications for the third edition of the International Breweries Hero’s Foundation Kickstart Programme has ended and the screening process has commenced.
The call for applications which was announced on 13th August, 2018 was open till September 30th, 2018. The screening process has begun and will end on the 5th of October, 2018. Successful candidates whose application meet all requirements will be invited to attend a rigorous one week business training by experts and professionals led by Professor Alex Ike Ikeme at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Business School, Awka after which they will be required to develop and submit their business proposals.
The business proposals will be judged based on their strength and sustainability. The final winners will be announced and given start-up/expansion fund at an award ceremony which will take place later in the year in Onitsha.
Since the Hero’s Foundation Kickstart programme commenced in 2016, 64 enterprising young people in participating states have been empowered with the sum of N132million, business training, and mentorship to turn their big ideas into sustainable businesses.
The IB Hero’s Foundation Kickstart Programme is a Corporate Social Initiative programme aimed at empowering and inspiring budding entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The programme is open to young people between the ages of 18 and 35 who reside in the participating states – Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Imo and Rivers States.
