Iwobi pledged his loyalty to the Nigeria Super Eagles a few years ago, after being tipped as a hot prospect for the English national team and has since then steadily retained his spot in the hearts and minds of many Nigerians while he continues to catch the spotlight and do real magic with his playing skills.

The fine young sportsman began his romance with football as a kid and had joined Arsenal F.C while still at primary school. Iwobi He featured for England at youth level where he won the Victory Shield of 2011. In a League Cup match against West Bromwich Albion on 25 September 2013 was when he was first involved in a first-team match as an unused substitute, after which signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal in October 2015.

Alex Iwobi was named in Nigeria’s 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and we can’t wait to see him shine through the tournament as the Super Eagles battle other teams to bring home the trophy.
