Lagbaja is one of the greatest to have made music in Nigeria. The masked one as he is sometimes called is an afrobeat musician, saxophonist, and song writer. He made beautiful music and at the same time addressed societal ills and struggles through his music.

According to wiki, Lagbaja’s mask represents a man’s facelessness. The name Lágbájá is a Yoruba word that means “nobody in particular” expressing the anonymity of the so-called “common man”. The mask and the name therefore symbolize the faceless, the voiceless in the society, particularly in Africa. He is also known as “Omo baba mu’ko mu’ko”.
