EFCC, Police denies knowing anything about alleged Gov. Ganduje’s bribery videos
Yesterday, two videos showing the Kano State governor, Umar Ganduje receiving bribes from some unknown contractors surfaced on the internet. The videos were released without audio by Daily Nigerian, who also claimed they are about 13 other videos.
However, the EFCC and the Police have both claimed to know nothing about the videos or the accusation on Governor Umar. According to Premium Times, the spokesperson for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren said “If they are talking about issues, let them resolve their issues. Whether we are going to look at it is a different matter, but for now, I do not know anything.”
On the part of the police, the Kano State Police Commissioner Rabiu Yusuf said “I am in Abuja, I have not seen the video not to talk of even investigating. I am not in town so I do not know anything pertaining to that for now.”
